Immature (second winter plumage?) Glaucous-winged Gull at Ogden Point, Victoria BC - January 5, 2003.  The smooth gray back appearance suggests a second winter bird, but the overall coloration seems to match first winter better.  Comments on the age of this individual would be appreciated.  © Michael G.
