First winter Iceland Gull at Clover Point, Victoria BC -
January 5, 2003. Bruce Mactavish suggests that this bird
is a L. g. glaucoides, "based on small head and bill (two toned),
long wings, lack of markings on wing tip, no hint of tail band." |
