"Answers" and Discussion for Bird Quiz #8.

This quiz has two shots, one taken at Sanibel Island Florida by Mary Beth Stowe, and the other from Nome Alaska, photographed by Jean Brandt.

In the first shot (Sanibel Island) try to find the eight species shown.  Four are quite easy, two aren't too bad, and the last two just about impossible.  One I still haven't found, but Mary Beth says it's there.

Scroll down for discussion and to view the second image.

#8 Red-breasted Merganser - supposedly there is a female behind the stick - I haven't found it yet.
